These delectable beverages will cleanse your system whilst giving you an energy boost and a vitamin hit. They taste amazing too. So, without further ado, let’s check out the detox drinks on the list here – they represent the five best beverages available for detoxifying your body and leaving you looking and feeling radiant.


This drink is so easy to make, and though it does not contain a wide range of nutrients it is very hydrating and contains plenty of Vitamin C (or ascorbic acid, if you prefer to call it by its technical name). Simply grab some filtered or otherwise purified water, add the juice of a couple of fresh lemons and stir in a teaspoonful or so of maple syrup to taste. It tastes just like flat lemonade and is very cleansing. What is more, it is so easy: you do not need a blender or juicer to make it!


Green juice is often seen to be the symbol of a detox, and of healthy living in general. This is one for all of you who have access to a blender or juice. Take a few peeled carrots, some turnip greens, a couple of garlic cloves, a bunch each of spinach and kale, a couple of sticks of celery and a couple of beets. Finish off with parsley for flavor and then blend it all together. You can add a little lemon if you prefer the taste. This juice gives you such a great cleanse as well as boosting your levels of iron and calcium (thansk to those leafy green vegetables), vitamins A and C and a whole host of vitamins and minerals.


Dandelion tea has been used throughout the ages to cleanse and detoxify, focusing in particular on the liver and kidneys. It is also a great vegan source of calcium, Vitamin A, iron and potassium. Just steep some fresh, crushed dandelion leaves in boiling water for around 10 minutes before drinking down this unique tasting tea.


Making your own fresh cranberry juice is so simple if you have a blender. Just mix one part cranberries to two parts water and blend until smooth. Strain the juice if desired and add a little sweetener to taste (though this is not necessary – cranberries taste fantastic by themselves!).


This summery drink is made by blending together purified water with two Vitamin C rich oranges and a handful of strawberries. Blend in a banana for potassium and energy, a teaspoon of hemp or flax oil for omega fatty acids, some ginger and lemon juice for a little kick and yogurt for protein. Delicious!
