Every fitness goal has a reason behind it. Whether you are losing weight or gaining muscles, you will definitely have a reason behind why you want to enter this journey, so know it carefully and put it ahead if you. Whenever you feel like giving up, the first thing you will remember to kill the laziness is your reason and main goal.
Ink your Goals
Writing down your goals will always keep you dedicated and will make your mindset mostly circumscribed with what do you actually want. And this applies to everything not fitness only. Any training routine or goal you want to achieve write it. It can be simple as not eating junk food for one month, and that could keep your favorite junk burger away.
Belong to a Positive Community
Get over your old dish parties and eating junk food with your mates after school or work. This could discourage you a lot if your friends do not understand that you have a specific goal. If it was easy, everybody would have been doing it, so do not worry if you find yourself the only one seeking a healthy lifestyle in your group. Accordingly, find people who share common goals with you.
Having a plan and focusing on what you really want is very important, but don’t forget that you have to love yourself and accept yourself as what you are. Not doing so will make you rush things and you might lose motivation and passion if you didn’t get quick results. But if you accept yourself, you will be able to wait more and more and work on your goal without stress, which will make you even better eventually. Workout because you love your body, not because you hate it.
Motivate Yourself Upon Waking Up
Fitness goals are mental more than they are physical, you need to be totally influenced by the idea and work on it excessively. Your mind is the battleground, so you either take the journey to the end or run away. Just when you wake up, remind yourself of why are you doing this and recite some quotes that keep you going, with loudly saying that you will lose fat today!
Reward Yourself Regularly
Positive feedback is a strong influencer to us human beings. And as we shouldn’t expect rewards from others, why don’t you reward yourself after achieving a certain milestone? For example, you can get yourself a new shirt after losing 3 pounds.
Do not complain
Stop making complains and excuses, this will do nothing but demotivate you. Stop saying you will start tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, and next decade! If you really want it you will start right now!
Do not Over-expect the Results
Striving for perfection will actually do great job, but you have to be realistic so that you don’t get demotivated by not reaching “perfection”. The best or nothing technique is no good, because actually the probability of being nothing will be better. Kick in and do your best and expect less.
Develop A Smart Workout Routine
Have an easy and doable workout routine that will not make you feel weak or bored to the extent that you will quit. Be smart and pick a time of the day that fits you the most and don’t go too extremely hard on yourself, just what will take it to burn the excess fats.
