The Red Tea Detox


2 cans of 420g dried and rinsed cannelloni beans.

A single chorizo sausage diced into small chunks.

One diced onion

1 can of diced/crushed tomato

1 clove garlic

1 teaspoon of BBQ sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

A teaspoon of Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon of dried oregano. A cup of water.


1. Rinse the beans in a strainer till clean 2. Using medium heat and a non-stick fry pan, heat the oil and sauté the onions till cooked. This should take close to 10 minutes, ensuring they are not colored. 3. Add chorizo sausage and cook for an extra 5 minutes 4. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds 5. You can now add the BBQ sauce, beans, canned tomatoes, Worcestershire Sauce, Dijon, oregano and water then simmer for at least 10 minutes with the lid on. 6. Can be served with eggs or toast for breakfast.
