Ingredients

  • 1 small red beet, trimmed and peeled
  • 1 large apple, cored
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 1 cup carrot juice
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2/3 cup frozen sliced peaches
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced

Directions

  1. Ensure you have peeled beets, celery, a cup of carrot juice, a cup of milk, a piece of peeled ginger and a half cup of frozen and sliced peaches.
  2. Chop the beet into small pieces
  3. Chop the celery
  4. Mix all the ingredients in the blender.
  5. Blend until smooth.
  6. Taste the smoothie to ensure that it’s sweet.
  7. You can serve immediately or store up to a maximum of two days.
 

Points to Note

• Using a high-quality blender is instrumental in making a smooth tasting smoothie

• Cooked beets tend to make a better smoothie as compared to raw beets.
